How to Register on JIKA

  1. Go to the submission page: http://salnesia.id/index.php/jika/about/submissions

  2. Click Register to start the registration process.

  3. Fill out your profile form, username, and password.

  4. Click Register, and ensure that you are registered as a JIKA member by verifying the link sent to your email.

  5. You can now Login using the username and password you registered.

How to Submit an Article to JIKA

  1. Access the website: http://salnesia.id/index.php/jika/about/submissions

  2. Click LOGIN using your registered username and password to enter the journal page.

  3. Once logged into your account, select Make a New Submission.

  4. You will enter the submission process, which involves 5 data entry steps: (1) Start, (2) Upload Submission, (3) Enter Metadata, (4) Confirmation, and (5) Next Steps.

Step 1: Start

  • Select Articles in the Section field.

  • Complete the Submission Requirements by checking every box ("You must read and acknowledge that you've completed the requirements below before proceeding").

    • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.

    • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.

    • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

    • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points.

    • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  • Fill in the Comments for the Editor box requesting the editor to publish your paper.

  • Check all boxes under Corresponding Contact and Acknowledge the copyright statement.

  • Ensure all information is correct, then click Save and continue.

Step 2: Upload Submission

  • Upload your manuscript file formatted according to the JIKA template by following these 3 sub-steps: (1) Upload File, (2) Review Details, (3) Confirm[cite: 5]. Select Article Text under Article Component.

  • Verify that the file has been correctly uploaded, then click Save and continue.

Step 3: Enter Metadata

  • Fill in the Title box with your article title.

  • Fill in the Abstract box with your article's abstract (in Indonesian/English).

  • Add author emails in the List of Contributors section for all authors.

  • Fill in the Keywords box with the keywords from your article.

  • Ensure all metadata entries are accurate, then click Save and continue.

Step 4: Confirmation

  • Double-check your submission details. If everything is correct, click Finish Submission.

  • Click OK to confirm that your data is correct and to submit your article.

Step 5: Next Steps

  • Confirm that your article submission is complete ("Submission complete").
