To accelerate the dissemination of scientific research, Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan (JIKA) implements an Advance Online Publication (Online First) system.
Under this policy, peer-reviewed and accepted manuscripts are published online prior to the release of the complete scheduled volume and issue.
Key Provisions:
-
Official Status: Articles published under Advance Online Publication are fully peer-reviewed, edited, and accepted for final publication.
-
Metadata & Citation: Each online-first article is assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI), complete volume, issue, and publication year designation. Authors and readers may formally cite the article immediately using its DOI and online publication date.
-
Ethical Compliance: The publication process strictly adheres to international standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
-
Content Integrity: Once an article is published online, the text is considered final. Any subsequent structural or editorial changes must comply with COPE guidelines and follow the official JIKA Correction & Retraction Policy.
-
Final Release: The article will be compiled into its designated full volume and issue according to the editorial schedule without altering its assigned DOI or core metadata.
