Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan (JIKA) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs associated with editorial and publication services. Manuscript submission is free of charge.
- Submission Fee: IDR 0 (Free of Charge)
- Regular APC: IDR 1,000,000 per accepted article
- Additional Publication Slot Fee: IDR 300,000, where applicable, in accordance with the journal's terms and conditions.
Effective January 15, 2026, the revised APC policy applies to newly submitted manuscripts.
The APC supports the journal's publication process, including:
- Similarity checking using Turnitin.
- Language and readability improvement.
- DOI registration.
- Manuscript layout and typesetting.
- Other editorial and production services.
When Is the APC Payable?
The APC becomes payable only after a manuscript has received a formal acceptance decision from the JIKA editorial team.
The journal administration will issue an official invoice or payment instructions following acceptance.
Payment Security: Authors should make payments only to the bank account specified in the official payment instructions issued by JIKA or its publisher, CV Sarana Ilmu Indonesia. Authors should verify any unexpected payment requests with the journal administration before making a payment.

APC Waiver for International Collaboration
JIKA provides a full APC waiver for eligible articles co-authored with international colleagues, provided that the international co-authors have their primary institutional affiliations with institutions located outside Indonesia.
Foreign nationals whose primary institutional affiliations are with Indonesian institutions are not eligible for this waiver solely on the basis of their nationality.
