Advertising and Conference Promotion Policy

1. Purpose and Ethical Alignment

Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan (JIKA) permits limited and highly selective advertising and conference promotion to support the dissemination of scholarly communication while maintaining strict adherence to editorial independence and research integrity. JIKA follows the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and Jkesvo Standards and Policies. All promotional activities must not interfere with editorial decision-making or ethical publishing standards.

2. Editorial Independence

All editorial decisions in JIKA are made independently of any advertising considerations. Promotional relationships shall not influence editorial content, peer review processes, manuscript acceptance, or publication timelines. JIKA does not endorse any products, services, conferences, or institutions advertised on its platform.

3. Permitted and Prohibited Content

  • Permitted Content: Academic conferences, scientific meetings, scholarly publishing opportunities, and activities organized by reputable research institutions. All submissions undergo strict vetting prior to publication.

  • Strictly Prohibited Content: Advertisements containing tobacco, alcohol, harmful products, misleading or unverifiable claims, political/racial content, predatory conferences, or any material conflicting with ethical publishing standards.

4. Vetting Criteria

Promotional submissions must originate from recognized academic or professional entities with transparent governance (disclosure of committee members and funding sources) and clear adherence to ethical standards regarding research integrity, plagiarism, and duplicate submissions.

5. Placement, Distinction, and Right of Refusal

Advertisements must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content, cannot be targeted to create conflicts of interest, and JIKA does not accept advertorials. JIKA reserves the right to reject or remove any material that compromises the journal's integrity or violates ethical standards.
