Jurnal Abmas Negeri (JAGRI) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Akper Yapenas 21 Maros, from 2020 to 2021, and subsequently published by CV. Sarana Ilmu Indonesia (Salnesia) from 2022 to the present.
Articles published in JAGRI comprise multidisciplinary scientific community service activities addressing general issues or problems related to community empowerment programs, including health sciences, applied sciences, social sciences, economics, culture, information and communication technology (ICT) development, administrative services, training and improvement of educational outcomes, agriculture, and other related fields.
The purpose of this community service journal is to disseminate conceptual ideas or insights based on knowledge and skills that have been developed and applied to the community in order to create empowered communities and provide inspiration and benefits to society at large.
JAGRI is published twice a year, in June and December, using a peer-review and editorial selection system. Manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo validity assessment by peer reviewers, followed by editorial selection and editing.
Guidelines for Authors
1. JAGRI only publishes original articles that have not been previously published in other journals.
2. Manuscripts must be written in either Indonesian or English using proper, clear, concise, straightforward, and understandable language.
3. Manuscripts must be typed using Times New Roman, 11 pt for the abstract and 12 pt from the Introduction through the References, in softcopy format on A4-sized paper. The margins must be 3 cm at the top, bottom, right, and left. Each column must be justified. Tables and figures should be adjusted to the width and length of the columns. Manuscripts must consist of a minimum of 6 pages.
4. Manuscripts must be prepared using a computer and submitted in .doc or .docx format. Manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS 3) provided on the JAGRI website at the following submission link:

5. For consistency, authors must follow the following manuscript structure:
a. Title in Indonesian and English.
b. Authors and Institution in Indonesian.
c. Abstract in Indonesian and English.
d. Keywords.
e. Corresponding author's email address.
f. Manuscript, consisting of:
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusions (including recommendations)
- Acknowledgements (optional)
- References
6. The title must be written in Times New Roman, bold, uppercase, and inverted pyramid format, with a font size of 14 pt for the Indonesian title and 12 pt for the English title (italic). A subtitle may be included if necessary.
7. A maximum of six authors may be listed. If there are more than six authors, the additional authors should be represented by the term et al. Authors' names must be written in Times New Roman, bold, capitalize each word, 11 pt. Each author's name must be accompanied by the name of their study program/institution. The correspondence address must include the email address, written in Times New Roman, capitalize each word, 10 pt.
8. The abstract must be written in both English and Indonesian. The abstract must not exceed 250 words and should be placed after the title and authors' names.
9. Keywords accompanying the abstract must be written in both English and Indonesian. Keywords should be placed below the abstract. A minimum of 3 keywords and a maximum of 6 keywords are required. Keywords should preferably not repeat words already used in the title.
10. References should use et al. when there are more than two authors in in-text citations, while all authors must be listed in the reference list. References may be arranged using the Harvard referencing system, with the assistance of Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero using the Harvard (with titles) style.
11. Examples of references using the Harvard (with titles) style. A minimum of 15 references must be cited, and at least 80% of the references are expected to be recent literature published within the last 10 years.

12. Ethics Declaration
Authors are required to provide an Ethics Declaration appropriate to the nature of their community service activity.
Where formal ethical approval is not required, authors must ensure that the activity was conducted in accordance with applicable ethical principles and that appropriate participant consent and institutional or community partner permission were obtained when applicable. Authors must also ensure the protection of personal information and obtain consent for the use of photographs, videos, or other identifiable documentation.
If ethical approval is required, authors must state the name of the ethics committee or authorized institution, approval number, and year of approval. The manuscript should also state whether informed consent was obtained from participants where applicable.
Examples of Ethics Declaration
a. For community service activities that do not require formal ethical approval:
Ethical Approval: This community service activity did not require formal ethical approval. The activity was conducted in accordance with applicable ethical principles, and participants provided consent to participate.
b. For activities that have received ethical approval:

c. For participant consent:

Authors should select and adapt the appropriate declaration according to the characteristics of their community service activity.
