Health Seeking Behaviour pada Pasien dengan Ulkus Diabetikum

Ulkus kaki diabetik merupakan salah satu komplikasi tersering pada pasien diabetes. Perilaku pencarian layanan kesehatan sangat penting untuk merencanakan perawatan dan manajemen diabetes setelah ditegakkan diagnosis sehingga komplikasi dapat diminimalkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan antara demografi dengan perilaku mencari penyembuhan ke fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan professional. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain analisis korelatif menggunakan rancangan penelitian cross-sectional. Total sampel sebanyak 112 subjek, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen Health Seeking Behaviour. Pasien ulkus diabetikum berjenis kelamin perempuan lebih banyak (60,7%), usia subjek terbanyak berada dalam rentang 35 sampai 60 tahun (75%), Status subjek yang sudah menikah sebanyak 78,5%. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Health Seeking Behaviour dan Persepsi manfaat, Persepsi hambatan, Persepsi keparahan, serta Persepsi kerentanan dengan p-value<0,05. Tenaga Kesehatan di klinik/rumah sakit agar dapat memberikan pendidikan kesehatan terkait penyakit ulkus diabetikum serta meningkatkan kesadaran mereka terhadap pentingnya mencari pertolongan penyembuhan ke fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan profesional.
